QUETTA/ISLAMABAD: Amid claims of horse-trading and purchase of votes in Balochistan, the stage is set for elections on 12 Senate seats of the Upper House on Friday (today) with some leaders urging the Supreme Court and election commission to take notice of the situation.Some quarters claim that the bid for votes has soared to a whopping Rs650 million, prompting speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani to appeal to the Supreme Court and the election commission to take action to ensure impartial elections…. more
