PIA plane makes emergency landing at Quetta airport

QUETTA: A PIA flight made a safe emergency landing at the Quetta airport, due to a technical fault in the plane, DawnNews reported on Friday.
According to PIA sources, the flight PK 240 had been travelling from Kuwait to Lahore when it developed the fault.
The flight had 196 passengers on board. All passengers and crew members were evacuated from the aircraft safely.
PIA engineers had begun work to repair the fault in the carrier.
Moreover, the PIA management stated that if the repair work took longer than expected, the passengers would be taken to Lahore on another aircraft.
