Second major earthquake measuring 6.8 strikes Balochistan in five days

Second major earthquake of 6.8 magnitude had struck Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Friday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) revealed. The epicentre of the quake was recorded at 96 kilometres North-East of Balochistan’s Awaran district and the tremors were felt as far as Jaffarabad, Sibi, Naseerabad and Quetta, Dawn News reports.
