Cold and dry weather expected

LAHORE: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province including the provincial capital during next 24 hours.According to local met office, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country during last 24 hours while foggy conditions would prevail in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sukkur divisions.Rainfall during last 24 hours in mms:Kalam 4, Kohat, Lower Dir 3, Pattan 2, Drosh, Dir, Bunji 01; Snowfall (inch): Kalam 02, Astore 01.Some coldest laces of the country:Parachinar -9.0?C, Malamjabba, Kalam -8.0C, Quetta – 7.0C, Gupis -5.0C, Astore, Kalat, Drosh -4.0?C, Murree, Hunza, Skardu -2.0?C, Dir, Rawalakot, Zhob, Abbotabad, Garidupatta -1.0C.In the city maximum temperature was recorded 15 degree celsius while minimum remained 6.5 degree celsius on Monday.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2015
